Participants will engage in the particulars of the 2-minute assessment, the Forrester classifications for mortality, and the diagnostic algorithm for suspected HF.
Diuretics and guideline-directed medical therapy charts are analyzed and discussed alongside what medications to use and which medications to avoid in the management of HF. Insightful knowledge regarding various treatment options, from nonpharmacologic behavior modifications to transplants and mechanical assist devices are also discussed.
